Well, Hello September!
As the season changes and the mornings begin to feel a little crisper, we are moving into fall mode here at St. Paul’s!
There are only a couple of weeks left of summer hours before the church office returns to regular hours, Monday–Thursday, beginning September 14th.
We are also back into the full swing of Sunday worship following our summer break. As a reminder, Tanis will be here for in-person worship on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, as well as every other 5th Sunday.
Our committees are beginning to meet again and plan their schedules for the fall and winter months. It’s wonderful to see things getting busy and active around the church once again!
Sunday School will return on September 20th under Ella’s leadership and will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
Before we know it, we’ll be watching the landscape transform from summer green into the beautiful colours of yellow, orange, and red — a sure sign that fall has arrived.
St. Paul’s Weekly Update
Sunday Worship – This coming Sunday, September 6th is in person worship with Tanis.
Meals on Wheels – Thank you to everyone who signed up so quickly to deliver meals! All of the dates are now all filled!
September 13 – Tanis will be worshipping at Griswold and Oak Lake. There will be a zoom service at St. Paul’s.
SALT Shakers – Sunday School will begin on September 20th! We are excited to have Ella leading our youth once again. We look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and sharing in fellowship together. We hope to see all of our youth there!
Church Office Hours – Beginning September 14th, the church office will be open Monday – Thursday at regular hours of 9am – 12pm & 1-3pm.
ALF Youth Retreat – Minnedosa, MB – Oct 23 to 25, 2026 – Faith in Film
Calling all grade 7 to 12s from Prairie to Pine Region (and beyond) to explore with peers for a weekend how movies inform our faith. If this interests your or you know someone in this age categofry that are interested in attending please let me know.

Change for Change Campaign – How is everyone’s change collecting coming along? Are your bags full? There is one more month left to keep adding those coins to help the M&S Fund!
The Outreach Committee is inviting everyone to collect their loose change over the summer and donate it to the Mission & Service Fund. Lovely decorated collection bags are available at the church, or you may use a bag of your own. Please return your collected change by the end of September. If you would like your donation included on your year-end tax receipt, please be sure to clearly label your bag with your name.
