Hi folks.. just a quick check in while I am away on some education leave. I have been in beautiful Keene Ontario, spending time with fellow women in ministry – we have talked, we have danced, we have reflected and we have rested. I was blessed to participate in group work and given time to reflect on where I find my joy! I hope you have had a great week and I look forward to connecting again when I return home next week.
May the spirit move in and around you in all that you do, and may you give yourself the grace to enjoy today- for all that it is.
Just a couple of things to take note of:
Chatter in the Church

The evening will be filled with history, laughs, local actors, and a time of fellowship. There are only 50 tickets left so be sure to get yours right away. For more information you can reach out to Helen McCormick 204-851-2775 or email helenm548@gmail.com
Faith and Food: Come for Coffee and stay for Faith and Food, starting on Thursday November 26, 2026, stating at 11:30, I will be hosting an Advent study for 4 weeks as we build up to the arrival and birth of Christ. Bring your lunch and join me in a time of conversation, reflection and of course some food.
Update regarding Sunday Worship at St. Paul’s
St. Paul’s United Church Council (meeting October 21,2026) passed a motion (6-3 and 1 blank ballot) in favour of not opening the church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays to host the viewing of zoom worship service.
Starting in December zoom services will no longer be streamed/viewed at St. Paul’s on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend in person worship in Griswold 9:30am, Oak Lake 11:00 on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
The Zoom link will continue to be emailed out so that you can continue to join the service from you home.
