Dearest readers,
It seems the ledgers have been whispering once more… and Lady Ledgerton is, as ever, compelled to share. The first quarter of 2026—spanning January through March—has now made its debut, marking the opening chapter of this year’s accounts and endeavors.

And with that, Lady Bottomline has a most delightful opportunity for us: an upcoming online auction in support of our church. With spirits high and ambitions set, we endeavor to gather no fewer than 100 splendid items—and your participation would make all the difference in ensuring its success.
Members of our congregation are invited to contribute treasures of all varieties: new, gently used, or vintage finds; handmade goods; baked delights; preserves; crafts; or even thoughtfully curated gift baskets. Those with a knack for rallying others might also consider reaching out to friends, family, or local businesses, who may wish to donate an item or service for this worthy cause.

Do not be deterred by thoughts of grandeur—some of the most sought-after offerings are those filled with simplicity, charm, or originality. A humble gift card, a piece of woodworking, gardening treasures, home baking, or services such as babysitting, yard work, or lessons often prove irresistible.
Donations may be delivered to the church at any time before May 29, 2026. As for baked goods, these shall be collected at the auction’s conclusion, though alternative arrangements may be made if required.
Should questions arise or inspiration prove elusive, you are most welcome to contact Jan at 204-740-0126 or Helen at 204-851-2775.
With gratitude for your generosity, creativity, and kind-hearted support, Lady Ledgerton & Lady Bottomline assures you that together, we shall make this auction both a lively affair and a meaningful success.
