That Feeling of Summer
Well, here we are — almost to the middle of May and on the verge of the May Long Weekend. The unofficial start of a Manitoba summer. The one weekend of the year where the weather is such a pure roll of the dice. You could be in your shorts on Friday and your winter coat on Sunday — one just never knows.
What is it about this weekend that makes it feel like summer has officially arrived? And after this past spring, not soon enough.
The anticipation of getting the camper out, heading to the cabin, wandering through the greenhouses, working in the yard, firing up that first BBQ of the season, and seeing farmers back in the fields. There’s just something about it — a feeling that’s hard to explain but easy to recognize.
So whatever your plans are, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe long weekend!
St. Paul’s Weekly Update
Friday, May 15th – St. Paul’s Spring BBQ 11:30am – 1:30pm Rain or Shine. Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Sweet Treats and Beverages.
Sunday, May 17th – Holy Humor Sunday, have your clown noses and wigs ready to join us. In person worship with Tanis.
Monday, May 18th – Church Office Closed for Victoria Day.

Thursday, May 21st – We look forward to our next Faith & Feast – everyone loves lunch, and who doesn’t love a little trivia to go with it!
