What a Little Rain Can Do!
Isnât it amazing what a little rain can do for both the environment and the soul?
With all the wind weâve been having lately, things were already beginning to look a little drab and sad. When I was mowing the grass on Saturday, I noticed it was getting thin and brown in some spots. Mind you, we basically live on a giant sandbox, so it doesnât take long for things to dry out and turn brown.
But when I got up on Monday morning and saw that it had rained, everything looked so much greener and perkier. It made me smile. Sometimes all it takes is a little rain to wash the dust away and make everything feel better.
The same can be true for us. If weâre feeling a little down or dealing with aches and pains, having a glass of water or two can make a surprising difference. We start to notice the change.

Rain seems to improve everyoneâs moodâespecially in a farming community.
Rain brings hope: hope for crops and pastures, for gardens to flourish, and for a successful growing season. Thereâs nothing better than a nice, warm rain to kick-start growth.
Water is essential for every living thing. It helps our bodies, plants, and animals grow and survive. In fact, water is even more important than foodâalthough if I donât eat every two hours, I think I might die!
Yet there are still places in the world that do not have access to clean drinking water. In the year 2026, thatâs a little sad. Maybe AI can be put to good use and help find a way to provide safe, filtered water for everyone. Wouldnât that be wonderful?
However your week is going, I hope the rain brings you hope and joy and leaves you feeling refreshed.
