Continuing the Conversation…

Between Sundays is where most of the Christian life unfolds. Worship doesn’t pause when the service ends—it continues in quieter, everyday ways as the Holy Spirit shapes our hearts and habits.

Prayer doesn’t need to be long or formal.

A few sincere words in the morning, a quiet pause at night, or short prayers during the day can keep you close to God. In these small moments, the Holy Spirit is at work—guiding, comforting, and reminding you that you belong to Him.

Faith also takes shape in how you live. Acts of kindness, forgiveness, and service are not separate from worship—they are expressions of it. The same Spirit given in baptism is active in your daily life, shaping your words and actions.

So, the days between Sundays are not just a pause between services – They are an opportunity to live out your identity as one renewed by the Holy Spirit—learning to pray, to love, and to “sing” through the way you live.

The Holy Spirit stirs our hearts, unites our voices, and directs our praise to God.

That same Spirit is powerfully at work in baptism. There, we receive more than a symbol—we receive new life. The Spirit who gives new life in baptism is the same Spirit who leads us in daily praise. We don’t worship to become God’s children—we worship because we already are.

So, on this coming Sunday, let us rejoice in both the gift of worship and the gift of new life. Led by the Holy Spirit…may our songs be filled with gratitude, our hearts anchored in grace, and our lives reflect the joy of being called children of God.

Take good care,
Pastor Tanis
